1. IMS commissioned successfully

Maisprach, May 2010 --- The Vogel moulds and machines AG (Hedrich Group) has successfully commissioned the first IMS at MGC Moser-Glaser AG in Switzerland.

The IMS (= Integrated Manufacturing System) is designed for producing hollow insulators from LSR silicone. In the case of MGC, IMS meets the high and individual requirements placed on the production of directly shielded RIP bushings:

1. Integrated production concept

2. Reduced process times by AVT (advanced vulcanization technology)

3. Easily operated and reliable control concept

4. Fast drum exchange thanks to user-friendly dosing device

"By choosing IMS we have decided in favour of a high-performance and innovative expansion of our existing production process. It has been integrated into our production environment without any problems and is realizing from the beginning the planned increase in efficiency. Our expectations as to innovation and increase in efficiency were “fully met" says the technical management of MGC Moser-Glaser AG.

„This order is a confirmation of our permanent motivation to enhance existing technologies.“ underlines also Norbert Maroldt (Managing Director of Vogel) and explains the advantages for customers of the electrical industry: “The Hedrich Group offers the complete production process for electronic components from one hand – including construction of windings for transformers, casting of insulation, moulds and clamping machines as well as engineering of all production processes. The subsidiary Hedrich winding systems for example develops and produces semi- and fully-automatic winding
machines and also offers maintenance and repair of existing equipment independent of the manufacturer – for increase in efficiency.“
