After the successful formation of the Hedrich Group in the past year, 2010 sees another great news from Ehringshausen: The foundation of Hedrich core systems AG.

 

The new Hedrich core systems AG is based in Staad at the Lake Constance in Switzerland. Being equipment manufacturer specialized in plate cutting and piling technique for distribution and power transformers, the new enterprise optimally completes and supplements the product portfolio within the Hedrich Group.

 

Target of the enterprise is to develop and manufacture specially efficient and economic equipment for the electrical industry in the medium and high-voltage range. This equipment is capable of manufacturing transformers of the latest generation and thus essentially contributing to making energy secure for the people. The increased demands of the transformer manufacturers as well as the energy suppliers regarding energy efficiency and working reliability drew the obvious conclusion to implement on the market a modern generation of cutting and piling equipment with improved technology.

 

The new cutting and piling equipment processes plates up to 1000mm in width - forming the later transformer core after being piled up either fully automatically or conventionally. Another feature (of the overall Hedrich Group) is the customized fabrication; this means: All equipment is discussed in every detail with the customer, and thus developed and realized the optimum solution. Too large dimensions as well as waste of time, space and energy are, as a result, avoided.

 

Key features of the new equipment generation are extreme accuracy throughout the cutting and piling process as well as material saved when cutting off the plates. In addition, the production output could be even more increased.

 

This innovation was made possible by systematic transfer of technology, creative engineering and successful selection of recognized specialists in the sector as well as exploitation of synergies and expert knowledge within the Hedrich Group.
